This Year Delhi Foundation of Deaf Women is organizing its VIIth National Conference and IIIrd Cultural Festival of India for deaf.

We are proud to be successfully rehabilitating and encouraging deaf in our country since 1973 when we first started as only an Entertaining Club for Deaf Women. Meeting together under one roof of Delhi Foundation of Deaf Women bought many problems faced by Deaf in light and then we gradually started working on those problems.

Today Delhi Foundation of Deaf Women is not only just an organization but it has become a Rehabilitation Center working not only for deaf women but also for young deaf children for Early Intervention, Prevention, Education and Awareness of hearing Impairment. We are aiming not only to make a deaf independent but also to build self confidence by INCULCATING THE LIKING FOR OUR CULTURE, OUR MORALS AND LOVE FOR ALL HUMAN BEING.

Benefits of this National Event:

A.THE VIIth NATIONAL CONFERENCE OF DEAF

The Topic for Discussion in VII National Conference 'PROBLEMS FACED BY DEAF / DEAF NGO & their Rights'

Participants from 12 States will take part in the Conference.

1. It will help in understanding the Problems faced by all deaf all our India.
2. Together we can find out the root causes of the problem.
3. Discussion on how to over come the problems.
4. How the all deaf organizations can together be a productive part developing our Country's status globally.

B. IIIrd CULTURAL FESTIVAL OF INDIA FOR DEAF

1. The Cultural Festival includes the interstate Dance competition, Drama Competition, Mime competition.
2. It will help in Knowing the Culture and Religion of different states participating.
3. This exchange of Ethnicity and Traditions helps in developing Morals & Values of Indian Culture.
4. It also helps in Building the Competing Skills in Deaf.

The overall idea of this National Event is to come under one roof and work for betterment of hearing impaired along with exchange of different Indian cultures and traditions.
