Established in 1973, the Delhi Foundation of Deaf Women (DFDW) has been a pioneer in empowering deaf individuals through rehabilitation, education, and vocational training. Initially founded as a small club, DFDW has since evolved into a comprehensive organization and training institute, dedicated to promoting self-reliance and confidence among deaf women. Our mission is to foster the emotional, spiritual, personal, and educational growth of hearing-impaired individuals, while creating greater public awareness about the challenges they face. We take pride in being the first organization in Delhi to introduce specialized courses designed specifically for the deaf community, offering them meaningful opportunities for advancement and independence.
